Also known as 'End to End Assurance', Usage Assurance will ensure that all usage data in the billing chain is loaded into the RAlite or RAevolution system and checked for discrepancies. Reconciliations and checks are performed between two unique network elements to identify and measure leakage and mismatches. It demonstrates levels of completeness, validity, accuracy and timeliness of all usage billed.
Platform Integrity, or 'Subscription Assurance', ensures that all subscribers and services being provisioned in the HLR is through a legitimate provisioning channel and checks for corresponding provisioning information in the billing or provisioning support system. It therefore compares subscriber information across multiple platforms example CRM against billing.
This module ensures the accuracy of data used for billing by the interconnect billing system. It accurately calculates settlement fees between different telecommunications providers and interconnect partners by performing reconciliation, invoice verification and traffic analysis. RAevolution reconciles the call records used by the interconnect billing system with call records taken from the switch. The carrier then uses this information to address the root cause of data leakage and thus ensure the accuracy of outgoing invoices.
XINTEC's Test-Call Generator (TCG) simulates subscriber activity by generating call events on mobile or fixed-line networks. This independent testing of networks is carried out to identify potential sources of revenue loss and to verify and validate the integrity of the revenue assurance function itself, (eg SOX compliance).
