Name Description
International revenue share fraud (IRSF) Identity fraud enables the fraudster to obtain SIMs within the home network. After connecting the SIM, a subscriber will be granted international roaming status. Once the SIMs have been shipped to a foreign roaming destination, they begin to generate long duration outgoing international calls. (This fraud also occurs from the home network). The home network is hit by financial losses generated by IRSF fraud. This type of fraud is generally committed in association with other fraud types eg roaming or PRS.
