CDR Viewer offers CSPs full visibility of CDR data
More than ever, communication service providers (CSPs) have a need to verify the integrity of Call Detail Records (CDRs) flowing through their fixed-line and mobile network systems, whether for accuracy checks, analysis, error-correction, reporting or simply testing. They need this vital information to be available on-demand, and accessible in near-real time.
Inspecting CDR information helps them with, amongst other things, fraud analysis, rating and billing queries, customer profiles, problem identification and root-cause analysis.
XINTEC’s CDR Viewer tool provides just these drill-down capabilities. XINTEC’s CDR Viewer is a secure web-based application that offers full visibility of CDR data, as selected by the User from a range of sources. It comprises an automatic, high-performance Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) engine, supported by a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). Originally designed for mobile operators, XINTEC’s CDR Viewer is equally able to handle usage data for other types of Service Provider.
Near-real-time and real-time data transformation is the key to effective subscriber control. With the increasing fraud threat there is a growing need for instant analysis of data using effective software applications.
XINTEC's CDR Viewer Supported Standards
It currently supports a wide variety of different standard record formats and data sources including:
- TAP
- NRTRDE
- MSC (roaming + domestic traffic)

Data Management
XINTEC’s CDR Viewer takes usage data in different formats as input and automatically feeds the data into an advanced and low-maintenance database.
The database storing the usage data is designed as a light-in-weight Operational Data Store (ODS) for high-performing updates and retrievals of bulk usage data, therefore it can be extended to a more comprehensive Data Warehouse (DWH) for new systems such as Fraud Management (FMS), Revenue Assurance (RA) and more Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
XINTEC’s CDR Viewer is easy to install and deploy, and requires no third party license fees. It can be implemented either as a turnkey or as a hosted solution (e.g. SaaS).
